Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, February 17, 2010. Mr. Troy Alan Law, 46, husband of Vicki Law of Augusta.
Mr. Law was a native and life long resident of the CSRA. He was a graduate of North Augusta High School. He served four years in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Milwaukee, where he achieved the honor of, “Top Watch” for the engine room at a very young age. He was also one of the few men to achieve the “True and Trusted Ice and Brine Encrusted Bluenose” honor. Troy was a Master Refrigeration Engineer. A year ago he suffered a debilitating injury while saving many lives at an Atlanta landfill plant.
Family members include: wife: Vicki Owens Law of Evans; stepson: Michael Andrew Owens of Evans; stepdaughter: Angela Owens Hooks and husband Kyle; granddaughter: Alexandria Victoria Hooks; mother: Verna Law of North Augusta, SC, brother; Dana Law and many loved nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Law and brother Dale Law.
