Troy Michael Ball
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, January 29, 2016, Mr. Troy Michael Ball, 38.
Troy was born a bulldog in Athens, GA. He was born with a series of rare conditions which quickly became life threatening. However, with the help of his family and friends, Troy would go on to beat the odds over and over again. He lived a long life full of love as he touched the hearts of everyone he met. Troy possessed a contagious laugh that could fill an entire house with ease and bring a smile to the face of anyone who heard it. This laugh could often be overheard bellowing through the halls of the Berry Center where he spent much of his time with his friends of over 28 years. Like his parents, Troy was passionate about music and could often be found bobbing his head along with the beat directly in front the nearest speaker. Troy was an adventurer, enjoying regular trips to the beach at Jekyll Island and camping at Mistletoe. But perhaps most of all, Troy enjoyed long van rides around the country. In doing so, Troy taught those around him to enjoy the journey just as much as the destination. Troy will never be forgotten and he will always be missed as he left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to love him and be loved by him.
Family members include his dad: Orlow Ball, PhD; mom: Barbara Ball; brothers: Christopher and Scott Ball; sisters-in-law: Jeanette and Ashley Ball; aunts and uncles: Brian and Bobbie Bannerman, Judy Barton and Harold and Maurie Panzik. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Ken and Mary Stevens and Leland and Laura Ball.
