Evans, GA – Troy Michael Smith entered into rest Monday, September 22, 2014.
Troy was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on July 1, 1964 and moved to Evans in 1978. Troy graduated from Evans High School in 1982. He was a self-employed flooring contractor for 30 years. Troy was an avid sportsman and loved spending time in the outdoors. He also enjoyed spending time with his many close friends.
He is survived by his parents Robert J. and Darla Smith of Martinez, GA, sisters Lisa Smith Regan (Timothy) of Augusta, GA and Marcy Smith Dean (David) of Commerce Township, MI, his niece Brittany Darion Taylor, of Commerce Township, MI, and by his paternal grandmother Deaha Smith of Evans, GA.
In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Columbia County Humane Society.
The funeral service will be private.
