Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, February 28, 2013, Mr. Truitt N. Nobles, Sr., 99, husband of the late Mrs. Merita Hoffman Nobles.
Mr. Nobles was a member of Central Christian Church and the VFW post # 63. He was a World War II Veteran and retired Civil Service.
Family members include children: Diane N. Burrows (Richard), Truitt N. “Bup” Nobles, Jr. and Vivian N. Clifford (Charles); grandchildren: Michelle Beasley (Chris), Tripp Nobles (Michelle), Chris Nobles (Sheree), Diane Greene (Tilmon), Richard “Ernie” Burrows, Jr. and Adam Nobles (Kitty); 8 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his loving caregivers: Mozella Dunn, Sallie Kemp, Estella Collins, Marilyn Rollins and Thelma Odum.
A graveside service will be held Monday, March 4, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Westover Memorial Park with Debbie Catlett and Dr. Emmitt Carroll officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Central Christian Church at 220 Crawford Ave, Augusta, GA 30904.
The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
