Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, August 06, 2013, Mrs. Ursula Israel, 77, loving wife of 55 years to Ray Israel.
Ursula was born in Ulm, Germany and became an American citizen in 2000. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.
Family members in addition to her husband include her children: Mike Israel (Mary), Pat Hensley (Eric), Robert Israel (Ingrid), Barbara Zurenda (John); grandchildren: Aaron Hensley, Falon Hensley, Robert Ray Israel, Amanda Zurenda; great grandchildren: Jackson, Ryker, and Laken Hensley.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 9, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Care Project, c/o Community Foundation for the CSRA, P.O. Box 31358, Augusta, GA 30903.
