Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Sunday, February 14, 2010 at Trinity Hospice, Mrs. Vera Radcliff Quick Howard, 80, wife of the late Needom Quick and the late John Thomas Howard, Jr.

Mrs. Howard was the daughter of T.G. and Fannie Radcliff. She was a native of Morven, NC. but lived in Augusta for the last 50 years. She was the church secretary for Second Baptist Church for 32 years, worked as church hostess for 30 years; taught Sunday School and also worked with the youth. Currently, she was a member of Warren Baptist Church where she worked in the nursery. She loved babies, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family members include daughter: Barbara Quick Parish (John) of Evans; grandchildren, Michael John Parish (Sandy Kay) of Evans, Serena Parish Stull (Josh) of Cumming, GA., great-grandchildren, Sydney Parish, Lily Parish both of Evans, Jackson Stull, Owen Stull both of Cumming, sisters: Velna Glisson of Waynesboro, Emogene Horton of Liberty, SC.; brothers: Thomas Henry Radcliff, the late Evrett Eugene Radcliff and 11 nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Dr. Michael Davenport and Rev. Dave Dillard officiating. Burial will be in Waynesboro, GA.
