Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Trinity Hospital, Virginia Mae Herrod, 92, wife of the late Colonel Ralph Herrod, U.S. Army (Ret).
Family members include daughter: Lynda Anguilla and husband Chris; son: Lee Herrod and wife Sharon; grandchildren: Shaun McIntosh, Ben McIntosh, Logan Herrod, Paige Herrod; sisters: Jimmie Faye Dunn and husband James, Anita Snodgrass and husband Pat; sister-in-law: Mary Tom Davis. She is preceded in death by her brother: Charles E. Davis and sister: Joe Evelyn Rush.
Mrs. Herrod was a native of Austin, Arkansas, as an Army wife she traveled the world and was a dedicated wife and loving mother. The family would like to thank the caregivers, Lisa Gandy and Mary Redmond, for the love and care shown to their mother.
A graveside service was held Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock, AR.
