Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, December 13, 2019, Virginia W. Lippert, 87, wife of the belated Thore Sigfred Lippert.
Virginia was born in Warrenton, Ga, but lived in Augusta most of her life. She and her husband Thore owned and operated Dixie LP Gas and Gas Heat, Inc. Following his death, she continued to run the company 30 more years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Family members include her daughters: Caroline Guay (David), Virginia Holloway, Ocie Belding, Kari DeLoach (Chris); grandchildren: Lisa Curl, Danny Terwilliger (Amanda), Julie Terwilliger, Joey Guay, Michael Sandefur, Judson Belding (Kelly), Austin Belding, Cason Belding, Emory DeLoach, Aubrey DeLoach; and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 15, 2019, at 3:00 P.M. at Thomas Poteet & Son Chapel with Rev. Phillip Winsett officiating.
