She went to be with her Lord peacefully in her sleep.
She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. A wonderful story teller and noted for her kind comforting words and was a “prayer warrior”. She was married to her husband for 56 years. As a military wife she faithfully followed her husband throughout the world for 38 years.
Family members include her husband: B.D. (Bob) Greer; children: Deborah Williams (Craig), Sandra Delk (Dale) and Mark Greer (Roxy); sister: Margaret Sue Heflin; 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents: William S. Agnew, Sr. and Minnie Attalene Agnew; and brother: William S. Agnew, Jr.
The funeral service will be Friday, May 13, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Baxter Stanley officiating. Interment will take place Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at 11 A.M. at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Ga.
In lieu of flowers, please make a charitable contribution to the Alzheimer’s Association, 106 SRP Drive, Suite A, Evans, GA 30809.
