Appling, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, February 23, 2012, Mrs. Vivian Chassereau, 82, wife of 66 years to Mr. William F. Chassereau
Mrs. Chassereau was a native of Augusta but lived in Evans most of her life. She was a member of West Acres Baptist Church. Mrs. Chassereau worked at Lily Tulip and Homestead Draperies. She retired from Clearwater Finishing Plant. Mrs. Chassereau loved her family and her church.
In addition to her husband family members include son: William F. Chassereau, Jr. (Debbie) of Grovetown, GA; daughter: Helen C. Doyle (Joseph) of Lincolnton, GA; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters: Frances Anderson and Pat Wilmot and brother: Jack Farmer. Mrs. Chassereau was preceded by her brother Bobby Farmer and sister Elsie Huffman.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 27, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at West Acres Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Harmon officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to The Alzheimer’s Association at 1899 Central Ave., Augusta, GA 30904.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at
