AUGUSTA, Ga. – Entered into rest Tuesday, September 1, 2009, Mr. Walter Fred Timm, Jr. 93, husband of Martha Hughes Timm.
Mr. Timm was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta. He was the owner of Augusta Dairies and a member of Mann Memorial United Methodist Church.
Family members in addition to his wife include his son: Walter Fred (Bubba) Timm III of Augusta; daughters: Amy Timm Creswell and husband Dee of Augusta, Dotsy Timm Shaw and husband Bob of Augusta, Mary Timm Stapf and husband, Joe of Augusta and grandchildren: Dana Creswell Little, Dessie Creswell Wingo, Trey Creswell, Meagan Stapf, Gabby Stapf, Joseph Stapf and Dodie Shaw. Mr. Timm was preceded in death by his sisters: Dorothy Timm Barker, Eugenia Timm Bruker and Ethel Butler Timm Williams.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 4, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Mann Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Roger Stone officiating. Pallbearers will be Henry Little, Raymond Wingo III, Shaw F. Williams, Sr., Bill Barker,Jeffrey Banks and Grayson Brown. Honorary escort will be Donnie Williams. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery.
