Augusta, GA – Walter Sheridan Wilson, 76, beloved husband to Mary Alice Wilson for 10 years, entered into rest on Friday, August 5, 2016 at Doctors Hospital.
Walter was the son of the late Walter A. and Julia Bush Wilson. Survivors include his daughter, three sons, ten grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
He served in the United States Army and was a member of Curtis Baptist Church. He worked for many years as Superintendent at Hillcrest Memorial Park and then as a truck driver. Walter was an avid Braves and Falcons fan.
The funeral service will be held Monday, August 8, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Mark Sterling officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
