Mr. Walther Trexel Bolick, Jr.
Augusta, GA – Walther Trexel Bolick, Jr. husband of Georgina C. Bolick, entered into rest the 18th of March, 2012 at 6:22 pm at the age of 82, He was born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.T. Bolick, Sr. He graduated from the University of Florida in 1953 and later was stationed in Germany while serving in the field artillery of the United States Army. He moved to Augusta in 1961 and started Trexco Associates in 1972.
He was a member of Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church where he served as a deacon and elder. He was also a member of the Augusta Country Club and was active in the Boy Scouts as chairman of the Arrowhead District and in the YMCA as well as other community projects. He served on the board of the Chamber of Commerce and was chairman of the Military Affairs Committee for several years.
He enjoyed playing golf and bridge.
Survivors include his wife Georgina C. Bolick, three sons: Trex Bolick III, Myles Bolick and his wife Janice and Gary Bolick and his wife Jean as well as eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Leslie Holmes officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the Christian Relief Fund of Augusta, 405 Telfair Street Augusta, GA 30901 or to Heartland Hospice PO Box 10086, Toledo, OH 43699-0086
