Hephzibah, GA – Entered into rest on Monday, October 18, 2021, Wayne Randolph Culbreth, 68.
Wayne was a native of Augusta and a 1972 graduate of Glenn Hills High School. As a pipefitter he was a member of Local Union 150. Wayne was hard working, a jack of all trades, there was nothing he couldn’t do. He was very proud of his Cherokee heritage and it was displayed in every area of his life. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and looking for arrowheads and Indian artifacts. One thing will never be questioned, Wayne loved his family.
Family members include his father: C. I. Culbreth; children: Tony Culbreth (Annie), Drew Green, Cherish Danforth (Jimmy), Jacob Culbreth (Jennifer); grandchildren: Austin Tyler Boyd, Ashton Bentley Culbreth, Dylan Andrew Green, Ledger Ryan Green, Haleigh Elizabeth Key, Skyler Jalene Key, Kiara Alaina Jade Danforth, and Jacob Alan Culbreth Jr., Alexa C. Culbreth, Abigail L. Culbreth; great grandchildren: Grayson Blair Boyd, Ace Emerson Boyd; brother: Mark Culbreth (Diana); nieces: Melinda Patterson and Pamela Key; faithful companions Maxx and Daisy. He was preceded in death by his mother: Edna Culbreth and sister: Janet Kelly.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 24, 2021, at 3:00 P.M. at Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor Jeff Miller officiating.
