Wayne Daley

Augusta, GA – Wayne Daley, 68, loving husband of 43 years to CeeCee Daley, left this earth to be with the Lord, kicking and screaming, on Thursday, August 11, 2022.
Wayne was a native of Augusta, GA and was known by many as “Mr. Man” and was stubborn as a mule. He graduated from Georgia Southern in 1975 where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. He was a rabid Georgia Bulldog fan and never missed a Braves game on TV. He worked in chemical and flooring sales. Wayne fought a long battle with prostate cancer and would like to thank the amazing staff at Augusta Oncology and Emory Hospital. His family encourages every adult male to get a yearly PSA test.
Family members in addition to his wife include his daughters: Katie Stewart (Nathan) and Heather Siddall (Alex); and grandchildren: Ash Stewart otherwise known as “The Ashman”, and Poppy Siddall.
The memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors with Rev. Grant Janke officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Prostate Cancer Research Institute: 300 Corporate Pointe, Suite 383, Culver City, CA 90230.
