Mr. Willard “Woody” Bryant
Augusta, GA – Mr. Willard “Woody” Bryant, 89, entered into rest Monday, April 4, 2011, husband of Mrs. Shaw Lewis Bryant.
Mr. Bryant was born in Amerillo, TX but lived 29 years in Turkey, NC. For the last several months he has lived in Martinez, GA. with his son and daughter-in-law.
Mr. Bryant was veteran of the U. S. Army Signal Corps and took part in the Normandy Invasion.
Family members include his sons: Clifford Bryant, Jesse Bryant (Carol), Lee Howard (Marietta), daughters: Adele Dubose (John), Anita Ray (Wallace); sister: Bernice Cramer; brother: Jesse Bryant; stepsons: George Pinyatello (Mae), David Lewis; stepdaughter: Jane Boose (Billy), 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
