Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, January 28, 2014, Mrs. Willene McGowan North, 95, wife of the late Mr. Henry Martyn North, Jr.
Mrs. North lived in Augusta since 1944. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Trinity Bible Class. Mrs. North retired from the Citizens and Southern National Bank.
Family members include several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A private (family only) graveside service will be held Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Magnolia Cemetery with Rev. John Barrett and Elder Thomas W. Goodwin, Jr. officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church at 642 Telfair Street, Augusta, GA 30901 or to the Brandon Wilde Endowment Fund at 4275 Owens Rd, Evans, GA 30809.
Mrs. North was a very private person and at her request there will be no visitation.
