Augusta, GA - William Earl Cooper (Billy), born May 18, 1962, passed away on July 12, 2018 at the age 56. He will be laid to rest in his childhood home of Augusta, Georgia. His friends and family are gathering to celebrate his life on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Thomas Poteet & Son on Davis Road. The visitation begins at 1pm and memorial service at 2pm.

Billy’s life blessed many through his warm heart, playful nature, and generous spirit. He was always willing to give and never hesitated to share when and where he could with others.

He was entrepreneurial by nature and stayed that way throughout his life - always pursuing fresh ideas with youthful vigor. He enjoyed various adventures over the years, including being a fashion model, recreational pilot, equestrian, rancher, boater, real estate investor, businesses owner, world traveller, and more.

He is lovingly remembered by his sisters, Darlene Cooper and Debbie Cooper; his brother, Johnny Cooper; his cousins, Mary Jordan and Marion Cowell; his nieces, Dana Cason and Nikki May; and his nephew, Dagan Sharpe. Billy was preceded in death by his father, John Cooper.

Billy’s memorial will be joined with his mother’s, Barbara Cooper, who passed away on August 16, 2018.
