Grovetown, GA – Entered into rest Friday, April 19, 2013, Mr. William Eugene “Billy” Inglett Sr, 68, son of the late Clayton and Eva Inglett.

Billy was a lifelong resident of Grovetown and was a member of the Grovetown Masonic Lodge #730. Billy loved his family and enjoyed spending as much time with them as he could. He also loved to fish. He was a very giving and selfless person who was always thinking of ways to help others first and always put his needs and wants last. His entire family will miss him immensely as well as all his friends and all of the lives he touched throughout his life here on earth.

Family members include children: Lynett I. Hitt, William E. Inglett, Jr., James Inglett, Tiffaney (Timmy) Reeves, Ryan Inglett; grandchildren: Shannon Cray, Emily Hitt, Trey Inglett, Dalton Inglett, Jacey Powell; brothers: Mr. Bob (Janette) Inglett, Mr. Charlie (Dorothy) Inglett, Mr. Henry (Kathryn) Inglett; sisters: Mrs. Clarissa (Tom) Culbreth, Mrs. Eva Powell, Mrs. Ethel (David) Culbreth, and Mrs. Gladys Gould. He is preceded in death by siblings: J.C. Inglett, Randolph Inglett, and Ava (Chick) Gay.


Funeral services will be held Monday, April 22, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet with Rev. Tony Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
