William Gray Jr.

Martinez, GA – Entered into rest on Friday, May 6, 2021, Mr. William Gray, Jr., 90, loving husband of 68 years to Mrs. Evelyn Harriger Gray.

Bill was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. He enjoyed golfing and was a devoted sports fan, especially of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Bill was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He always enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Family members in addition to his wife include his children: Patty Smilak (John) of Augusta, Bill Gray (Laurie) of Pittsburgh, PA and Jerry Gray of New Castle, CO; grandchildren: Johnny Smilak, Julie Smilak and Elizabeth Gray.

The funeral Mass will be held Monday, May 10, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Day Chapel at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church with Fr. Theodore Agba celebrant. Entombment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the local Salvation Army Center of Hope, 1384 Greene Street, Augusta, GA 30901
