William Thomas Kavanagh, Jr.

Grovetown, GA – Entered into rest on Friday, December 16, 2022, Mr. William Thomas Kavanagh, Jr., 79, loving husband of 34 years to Sylvia Kavanagh.

Bill was a devoted member of Wesley United Methodist Church and The Cornerstone Sunday School Class. After a long career in lumber sales, he then retired from Blanchard & Calhoun Real Estate. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was known affectionately as “Kavy” to family, “Pops” and “Daddy” to his children, and “Papoo” to his grandchildren.

Family members, in addition to his wife, include his children: Tommy Kavanagh (Leslie), Brian Kavanagh (Ginger), their mother Susanne Kavanagh, Ollie Kelly, and Brandi Glisson (Warren); 10 grandchildren and many other loving family members. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Carolyn Kavanagh, and sister, Madonna Gilliam.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. To celebrate his life the family invite friends and family to a wake in the family home on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M.
