William H. "Bud" Lariscy, Sr.

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, William H. “Bud” Lariscy, Sr., 89, husband of Joyce Lariscy.

Bud worked as a supervisor at DuPont and retired after 35 years. He loved to work and stay busy. He could build anything. He had a great love for his family and enjoyed spending as much time with them as he could.

Family members in addition to his wife include son: William H.” Bill” Lariscy, Jr.; grandchildren: Melissa Kaufman (Kenny), Robin Dixon (Kevin), Stephanie Lariscy and William H. “Trey” Lariscy, III (Kayla); great grandchildren: Abby Dixon, Destiny Wallace and Hampton Lariscy; siblings: Marvin Lariscy (Miriam), Mary Bird, Dot Prevatt and Beatrice Lariscy. Preceded in death by his son: Gregory Lariscy and sister: Thelma Bowman.

The funeral service will be held Friday, February 25, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor Todd Sturgell officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
