Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, November 29, 2010 at Doctor’s Hospital, Mr. William “Eddie” Marion Seals Jr., son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William M. Seals, Sr. (Maxine) of Hephzibah.
Mr. Seals was a native of Augusta. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1960-1964, he then worked for Columbia Nitrogen as a welder until 1967. Mr. Seals joined the Richmond County Sheriff’s Department in 1968 where he served until his retirement in 2010. Mr. Seal’s favorite pastimes were hunting, fishing and golfing.
Survivors include his wife: Joan Haywood Seals, son: Anthony “Tony” Seals (Summer), daughter: Robyn S. Burns (Edward), grandchildren: Aleta Rogers, Austin , Shelby and Chase Seals, step-grandchildren: Dakota and Logan Coleman, Cousin: Buddy Johnson; special friend and companion: Lynda Rosier Hand.
Graveside services will be held Friday, December 3, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Magnolia Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be the Richmond County Sheriffs Department.
