Augusta, GA – Mr. William L. O’Byrne Jr., age 41, entered into rest Tuesday, February 21. 2017 at AU Medical Center. William was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta and graduated from Lakeside High School in 1994. With his beautiful sweet smile, he was loved by everyone and never met a stranger. He loved sports, especially Georgia Tech, the Atlanta Falcons and Kyle Busch. Most of all he was a devoted and loving father.
Family members include wife: Jennifer O’Byrne; son: William “Liam” O’Byrne, III; parents: Larry and Cathy O’Byrne; brothers: Steven O’Byrne (Brandy), Scott O’Byrne (Michaeleen) and Brent O’Byrne.
A memorial Mass will be held Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church with Fr. Mike Ingram, celebrant. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Mass at the church.
