William P. Philippe
Evans, GA – William P. Philippe died, Thursday, September 24, 2015. He is survived by his wife Janice (Daniel) Philippe, to whom he had been married for 35 years. Bill was born in Chicago, IL, lived in Michigan and Ohio, but he and Janice made their home in Evans since 1995.
Bill served his country in the Army during the Korean War. He spent his career serving people with the Department of Health and Human Services in several different states. All of his family will miss him dearly.
Family members in addition to his wife include daughters: Karen Frietsch (Jim) and Michele Philippe both of Cincinnati, OH, and Kelli Lutz of Hollywood, FL; son: Jeffrey Lutz (Angela) of Grand Rapids, MI; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
A funeral mass will be Monday, September 28, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church with Fr. Godfred Boachie-Yiadom celebrant.A meal will be served following the service at the church. Burial will follow at St Joseph Cemetery in Cincinnati, OH.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Teresa Avila Catholic Church at 4921 Columbia Road, Grovetown, GA 30813 or to the National Parkinson Foundation at 200 SE First Street Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.
