Evans, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, June 26, 2012, Mr. William Ralph “Bill” Barrett, 54, husband of Mrs. Kathy Barrett.
Mr. Barrett was a native of North Carolina. He was a graduate of North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He spent his entire professional career with Southern Company at Plant Vogtle. Mr. Barrett was a dedicated servant at the Vineyard Church of Augusta. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed cycling, scuba diving, and videography. He was the authority on all things technological and mechanical. Above all else, he was passionate about making memories with his family and friends.
Family members in addition to his wife include daughters: Rebecca Phillips and husband Matthew, Mary Beth Kepshire and husband Erik; son: Tim Barrett; grandson: Luke Kepshire; parents: Robbie Barrett and the late Rev. Troy Barrett; brothers: Jim Barrett and wife Lois, Bob Barrett and wife Marcia.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 12:00 PM at Vineyard Church of Augusta with Rev. Reese LeRoy officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Vineyard Church of Augusta “Haiti Missions”, 3126 Parrish Rd., Augusta, GA 30907.
The family will receive friends Friday evening, June 29, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Vineyard Church.
