Martinez, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, February 23, 2012, Mr. Willie Frank Shelton, Jr., 67, husband of Mrs. Sherry Shelton.
Mr. Shelton was a native of Athens, GA but lived in Augusta most of his life. He was a loving husband and father. Mr. Shelton was an inspiration to everyone who knew him. His daily walk and talk with the Lord was very evident in his life.
Family members in addition to his wife include son: Matthew Shelton of Augusta, GA; sister: Doris Crumley of Athens, GA; brother: Clifford Shelton of VA and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 27, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son with Rev. Dennis Nix officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of ones choice.
